Letter to Parents from Activities Director, Mike White
 
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Student-Athletes,
 
The Shelby High School Student Athletes have been nominated to receive the All School Great Falls Tribune Award on Monday, May 21 at the Best Western Plus Heritage Inn in Great Falls at 6 PM.  Chase Reynolds of Drummond, the former Montana Grizzly star halfback, who played five years in the NFL with the Rams, will be the featured speaker at the banquet.
 
This has been an exceptional year for Shelby High and it is a privilege to be nominated for this distinguished award. Therefore, we would like as many student-athletes to attend as possible.  Our high school athletics for the year has been held to a superior standing with
  • Volleyball - Divisional Champions - State Participant
  • Football - State Champion Runner Up 
  • Girls Basketball - Divisional Participant
  • Boys Basketball - District & Divisional Champions, State Champion Runner Up
  • Girls Golf - Divisional Champions 
  • Boys Golf - Divisional Champions
  • Wrestling/Track/CC/Softball - Numerous Individual awards and accolades
We will have the Coyote bus ready to take student-athletes to this event, the bus will depart at 4:30 PM, so please meet in the back parking lot, between the Vo-Ag and High School.  Athletic Director, Mike White, will have all your student tickets available so that we can sit together as a Shelby School Student Body.  Parents, we encourage you to purchase your tickets and attend as well.   
 
In addition, any athletes that have been nominated for the Great Falls Tribune Athlete of the Week online voting contest during the school year will receive free tickets for the banquet.
